Setup email / calendar account
For using the app you need to add an Email/Calendar account. Choose from Apple's predefined list or select "Other" if your provider is not listed.
Messages
Go to Settings > Messaging and disable the possibility for applications to display Notifications Disable all pop-up possibilities as well.
Calendars
Go to Mail, Contacts, Calendar-> Calendars and disable the New Invitation Alerts option. Remove all reminders for appointments.
Calendars
To display your appointments in this app you only have to enable the Mail and Calendars synchronization. Also it is not necessary to synchronize emails for long time.
Synchronization
Do the following steps to ensure an automated synchronization of your calendars. Activate "Push" and a fetch interval of 15 minutes. This setting will be used for providers that don't support push services.
Default Alert Times
During the the usage in public areas it is important that no massages will popup and interrupt the shown calendar. To prevent this problem you only have to set all Default Alert Times to None.

Activate Guided Access
To activate the guided access go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Guided Access and activate it. Please set a deactivation code and make sure you will remember it well.
Setup Guided Access
Open the app and press the Home-Button three times.

You can now choose between different security options for the app. If your iPad is mounted in an open frame, you can e.g. use these settings:

  • Sleep/Wake Button: Off
  • Volume Buttons: Off
  • Touch: On
  • Motion: On

Add a personalized logo

You have to buy the app to add a personalized logo. Which package you choose depends on the extent of your usage.

In principle, the Bronze Edition contains all features of the app. We split up our user's needs into four different groups, by which you can inform yourself during the payment. It's your decision how much our work is worth to you. Let your conscience be your guide.
Create your logo in the size of 280x98 pixels and save it as as "logo.png". This logo is used by all "not" retina devices. Therefore, it is important that you, as described in Step 2 still create a second, high-resolution logo. This is then used by retina devices.
Create your logo in the size 560x196 pixels and save it as "logo@2x.png" from. This logo is used by all retina devices.
Connect your iPad to your computer and launch iTunes.
Go to iTunes an click on your iPad. Then click on your installed apps. Down in the area "file sharing" you will find your "Conference" app. Enable the app by clicking on the app icon. Then you can add your personalized logo on the right side. Upload your logo to the iPad by pressing the sync button at the right bottom.
If all goes well and you have followed all the steps, you will find your personal logo in the app after restarting the app.
